One of the initiatives the Ministry of iTaukei Affairs will focus on in this new financial year is to engage their staff more with the people at grassroots level.
Permanent Secretary Naipote Katonitabua says this is vital as people will know what program government is doing and how it can benefit the people.
While opening the “Fiji the Land and the People” workshop Katonitabua says such workshop will help their staff know their relationship with other institutions such as TLTB and land bank.
He says knowing their relationships with other institutions will help land owners in developing a future for their generations to come.
