A Heavy Rain Warning remains in force for the Southern Lau Group, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, and is now cancelled for the rest of Fiji.
A Strong Wind Warning remains in force for the Yasawa and Mamanuca groups, Viti Levu, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, and the Lau and Lomaiviti groups, and is now cancelled for Vanua Levu.
The Nadi Weather Office says a Coastal Inundation Alert remains in force for the southern low-lying coastal areas of Yasawa, Mamanuca, Viti Levu (from Natadola through the Coral Coast to Navua), Kadavu and nearby smaller islands, Moala and the Southern Lau Group.
A low-pressure system lies to the west of Fiji and continues to track southeastwards away from the country.
An associated trough with cloud and rain is expected to continue affecting the group until later today.
The Weather Office says a second cloud band currently lies just west of Fiji. It is expected to move southeastwards, passing south of Kadavu Island.

They say floodwaters can be deeper and faster flowing than they appear and may also be contaminated, posing serious health and safety risks.
Drivers are advised to exercise extreme caution and to avoid driving through flooded roads, bridges and crossings.
The NDRMO says drivers should not attempt to cross flooded Irish Crossings or low-lying areas and advises if the road surface is not visible, drivers must not proceed.
Members of the public are also urged to stay away from flooded drains, culverts and waterways and to avoid unnecessary travel during this period of heavy rain.
