Fiji Showcase 2026 attracts record turnout of 100,000 visitors

More than 100,000 people attended Fiji Showcase 2026 over its nine-day run, making it the biggest event in the show's history and setting a new attendance record for Communications Fiji Limited (CFL).

CFL General Manager Charles Taylor says the milestone is the highest attendance ever achieved since the event began as the Home and Leisure Show at the Suva Civic Centre in 1986.

Taylor says the record reflects the hard work and commitment of the entire CFL team, who spent months planning and nine demanding days delivering the event.

He also highlighted that this year's Fiji Showcase was blessed with nine consecutive days of fine weather, the first time that has happened in the event's history.

Taylor says while the event was exhausting for the team, it was equally rewarding to see thousands of families and visitors enjoying the experience, as well as the strong engagement from people following Fiji Showcase online.

He says CFL's goal was to make this year's Fiji Showcase the most successful yet, and reaching the 100,000-visitor mark exceeded expectations.

Taylor adds that Fiji Showcase is not only about creating a memorable experience for visitors but also about delivering value for the hundreds of exhibitors and businesses that invest in the event by giving them the opportunity to connect with thousands of potential customers.
