Consistency will be crucial for the Fiji Airways men's national 7s team as they head into the Cape Town 7s this weekend, with high-tempo and physical pool matches lined up against South Africa, New Zealand and Great Britain.

While speaking from Cape Town, Fiji 7s Head Coach Osea Kolinisau says they have reviewed their performances from Dubai and will focus on tightening discipline and game management.

Kolinisau says the short turnaround from last weekend means players must be clear on their roles, and they have worked to refine those ahead of the tournament and maintain discipline.

He adds the team has settled in well in Cape Town, completed three solid training sessions, and the players are fit and ready for the challenge.

The Fiji Men’s side will open their campaign against South Africa at 10.44pm tomorrow night before facing Great Britain at 1.38am Sunday in their second pool match, and they will play New Zealand at 5:19am Sunday in their last pool match.

The Fijiana 7s will take on the USA at 8.44 tomorrow night, before facing Great Britain at midnight Sunday, and New Zealand at 3.48am Sunday in their last pool match.
