Chaos erupted at Kolkata’s Salt Lake Stadium yesterday as football legend Lionel Messi continued his GOAT Tour in India, but many fans were left disappointed after failing to get a clear glimpse of the superstar.

Fans who had purchased tickets hoping to see Messi up close grew angry when they were unable to view him properly inside the stadium. The situation quickly escalated, with reports of chairs being broken and bottles thrown in frustration.

Several attendees blamed the event organisers for poor planning and crowd management, saying the incident could have been avoided with better arrangements.

During his visit, Messi also met Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

Meanwhile, he earlier unveiled a towering 70-foot statue of his which was constructed in just 40 days to pay tribute to him for his achievements.

Messi’s India visit under the GOAT Tour is scheduled to conclude tomorrow.
