The body of the 65-year-old man from Cogea Village in Bua who was swept away by strong currents while trying to cross a swollen river on Monday afternoon, has been found.
He went missing on Monday afternoon.
A search was launched immediately but had to be called off later that night after no success.
Meanwhile, a separate search operation is ongoing in Sigatoka for a 50-year-old man who went missing in Tulahewa River.
The man was returning from his farm when he tried to cross the river and was swept away by strong currents.
Authorities are urging the public to exercise extreme caution when crossing rivers, especially during heavy rain and rising water levels.
