All civil servants to resume duties tomorrow

All civil servants to resume duties tomorrow

[Ministry of Civil Service]
All civil servants are to resume normal duties tomorrow.

The Ministry of Civil Service says this follows the movement of Severe Tropical Cyclone Vaianu out of Fiji’s waters this evening, with weather conditions expected to continue improving.

The Ministry says Permanent Secretaries are, however, given discretion to make necessary arrangements for staff who have been directly affected by Severe Tropical Cyclone Vaianu, to allow sufficient time for the rehabilitation of their homes and households.

They say all Ministries and Departments are to ensure a smooth transition back to normal operations while maintaining awareness of any residual impacts on staff and service delivery.
