A woman has died after she was allegedly assaulted by her husband inside a hall in Uma Village in Rabi, following an argument.
Police confirm the alleged incident occurred on Friday night.
They say the woman was taken to the Rabi Health Centre where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police say the matter was reported, and the Tukavesi Police Station Crime Officer and investigators have been deployed to the island to conduct investigations.
