We would have loved to have Nalaubu in the team - Thaggard

Sairusi Nalaubu

The coach of the Suva soccer team Maxwell Thaggard says they would have loved to have goal scoring sensation Sairusi Nalaubu playing for the team in the Pillay Garments Champions versus Champion series as he has his own game style.

Thaggard says it was his own choice to leave the team.

Last season, Nalaubu scored 19 goals for Suva.

A decision on Nalaubu’s transfer application to join Lautoka is yet to be made by the Fiji Football Association.

Thaggard says he was not happy with the outcome of the first leg and they have to get their game plan right to win today.

Suva will play defending champions Labasa in the second leg of CVC at 3pm today at the ANZ Stadium.

You can catch the live commentary of the match on Radio Sargam.
