2024 World Hip Hop champions, Wan Squad lit up the Vodafone external stage in their first performance at the 2025 Fiji Showcase at the Vodafone Arena carpark today.

Wan Squad Manager and Creative Director Pyan says performing at Fiji Showcase as the opening act is a blessing.

He says it is their first day in Fiji, and they are enjoying the people, the weather and the hype of Fiji Showcase so far.

Pyan says they dance for the Pacific and represent all the island nations of the Pacific on the world stage.

People from all walks of life were seen on the ground with their loved ones, enjoying the bargains and the food.

Derek Stolz from Nakasi came with his five children to the opening today because they came mid-week last year, and it was really full.

Stolz says he wanted the kids to have fun before the venue reached full capacity.

He says this year is so amazing, with so many rides for kids, and the booths inside the arena are so amazing.

Stolz is urging everyone to come and enjoy what the show has to offer and to simply have fun.

Looking at the entertainment this afternoon at the Vodafone eternal stage, the FM96 Crackfast Team takes centre stage from 5.30pm to 6pm, followed by DJ Drishant from 6pm to 6.30pm.

Wan Squad will perform from 6.30pm to 7pm. CIWA Music Fiji will be closing day 1 entertainment with their performance from 7 to 8 tonight.

On the Telecom internal entertainment stage, Brazilian juggler Piva will perform from 5.30pm to 6pm.

Tickets are $4 for adults and $3 for children under 12.

Gates to Fiji Showcase close at 9 tonight and open at 10am tomorrow.
