Tavua College is still leading the boys division of the 2019 Coca-Cola Games thanks to Yeshnil Karan who won his second gold medal in the 3000 metres final this morning.

Karan caused a major upset again today after he beat the favourite, Petero Veitaqomaki of Marist Brothers High School in the 3000 metres.

The Tavua College student also won the Senior Boys 1500 metres yesterday and beat favourite, Veitaqomaki.

Karan says one of the difficulties he endured during the training was the rainy weather in Yaladro, Tavua.

He says he was confident that he will do something great.

Tavua College is leading the boys division with 2 gold.

RKS is in second place with 1 gold and 1 silver, Nadogo Secondary School from Macuata is in third with 1 gold and 1 bronze while Natabua High, Suva Grammar School, Sigatoka Methodist High School and Xavier College are in fourth place with 1 gold medal each.
