Fiji born international music star, Sumeet Tappoo

Fiji born international music star, Sumeet Tappoo’s latest song, a cover of Adnan Sami’s song ‘Tera Chehra’, is a success and has been hugely appreciated by the people.

Tappoo’s management says the song features a new musical score which has kept the melody intact and has done full justice to the original song which was a super hit in its time.

They say in an era where song recreations are done by the thousands, this version by Tappoo is exceptionally well executed and has drawn many positive comments on social media after its release.

Tappoo says he is truly humbled by the reaction that he has received for ‘Tera Chehra’.

He says he believes that no one can replicate or do better than an original and it's often risky and difficult to recreate a song that is adored by millions worldwide but he is glad that people have liked and accepted his version.

Tappoo has had a very successful year as he has had over a dozen releases with the most successful being ‘Shivohum’ with over 5 million views.

He also won 3 prestigious 2023 CLEF Awards from the 6 nominations he received as well as the International Excellence Award at the British Parliament for his music and humanitarian work.
