It is good news for Fiji as Tropical Cyclone Lusi no longer poses any threat to the country.
The Nadi Weather office said at 4 this morning the cyclone was located at 520km west south west of Nadi and is moving south at 20km per hour towards New Zealand.
Some rain bands still remain over the Fiji group which may bring occasional showers for the next few days.
The weather office said the tropical cyclone warning will be cancelled later this morning however the strong wind warning still remains in force.
