Suva Rugby conducts under 20 trials

The Suva Rugby Union had their under-20 trials today at the Bidesi grounds in preparation for the upcoming Skipper Cup competition.

Strength and Conditioning Coach Neori Buli says they are already late in terms of putting a side together for the upcoming tournament.

Buli says they have a good depth this year with a lot of young players coming through the Secondary School Deans rugby and they will give these boys a chance to represent Suva.

He says they are building on their young players to groom them to be better players in the future and winning games will be an additional bonus if things go their way.

Buli says three teams were selected with each team having 20 players each, playing 4 twenty-minute quarters each.

The Skipper Cup tournament is scheduled to start on the 24th of February.
