Suva Grammar, ACS wins Coke Games

Suva Grammar School and ACS have done it again as they successfully defended the Coca Cola Boys and Girls Division titles for the fourth and tenth year respectively.

Looking at the Fijivillage Medal Tally Suva Grammar finishes of their 2010 Coca Cola games campaign with, 10 Gold, 2 Silver, Marist Brothers came in second with 7 Gold, 8 Silver and 2 bronze, Xavier College from Ba came in third with 5 Gold, 3 Silver and 3 bronze.

In the girls division ACS successfully defended their title for the 10th year in a row and walked away with 14 Gold, 6 Silver and 3 bronze, Suva Grammar took second place with 6 Gold, 6 Silver and 1 Bronze, while Napuka secondary from Vanua Levu came third with 4 Gold, 2 Silver and 3 Bronze.

Jubilant Suva Grammar Coach Jone Delai said this year’s win is even more special as the school is celebrating its Golden jubilee celebrations.

This is after he added the 200meters gold to his haul for the 2010 coca cola games.

Speaking after the race Savou said he is happy as he had to overcome a niggling injury to win the event.
