The Suva Combine Masters team will have a different game plan for tomorrow’s matches against Rewa Masters, Ba Legends and Nadi Veterans in the RC Manubhai/Apco Coatings Veterans soccer tournament.

The tournament began last night where Suva Combine Masters lost against Nasinu Legends 1-0 in their fist match at the Fiji FA Academy Grounds in Suva.

Jalindar Singh scored for Nasinu Legends.

Club President, Dinesh Raj says they have the expertise of former Suva reps such as Bobby Maharaj and Natwar Shyam and the former Suva district team coach, Intiaz Ali but they will not be relying on any one player.

He says the team has been preparing for the tournament almost daily since January.

Meanwhile, in another match last night, Ba Legends beat Lautoka FC Veterans 1-0 at Fiji FA Academy Grounds in Ba.

Isoa Ratuva scored the goal for Ba Legends.

The tournament will officially begin at Lawaqa Park tomorrow morning.

There are 17 teams participating.

The final will be played on Sunday.
