Suva Bus Stand got a clean up this morning from staff of Carpenters Motors Lubricants and the Suva City Council.
National Operations Manager, Carpenters Motors Lubricants, Daven Goundar said this is being done under their Corporate Social Responsibility Project which will be done in 3 phases.
The last to be done will be towards the end of the month.
Goundar said they are projected to use close to $20,000 worth of chemicals for this 3 day clean up which may not be completed due to the weather.
However it has finally kicked off and people can already see a cleaner and less greasier Suva Bus stand.
Meanwhile around 15-20 workers from Suva City Council are present to help brush, scrub and wash the bus stand.
