Students have also been treated at St Giles Hospital for drug abuse problems.
This was confirmed by acting Principal Medical Officer St Giles Hospital Dr Nirvana Karan with referrals also being made to them by schools.
Karan also warned against the effects and the risk that drugs carry for those who abuse it.
Karan added three doctors will also be part of the Public Consultation group on the Volatile Substance Abuse Decree 2013.
Meanwhile, the Public Consultation on Volatile Substance Abuse Decree 2013 will be held this Thursday till next Monday up North, and will continue around the country throughout August.
