South Africa wins Edmonton 7s

South Africa has beaten Great Britain 24-12 to win the Edmonton 7s and also win the 2021 HSBC 7s series.

They had won the Vancouver 7s last Monday.

The back-to-back Canadian tournaments were missing top teams such as Fiji, New Zealand and Australia due to COVID-19 travel and quarantine restrictions.

The new 7s series is set to resume with back-to-back tournaments in Dubai to kick off the 2022 season.

Those events are scheduled for November 26th to 27th and December 3rd to 4th.
