The world class Sofitel Resort and Spa will host its inaugural music festival “A Weekend of Jazz” this May which could soon become an added attraction for the tourism industry.
Organiser Nathan Telser from the Sofitel said they have teamed up with New Zealand's Hawkes Bay Jazz Club and the festival will stretch across four days from Friday the 20th until Monday the 23rdof May.
Telser said there has been lot of interest shown in the festival and it would definitely help attract more visitors, particularly music lovers to our shores every year.
Telser confirmed that the overall aim of holding the festival is to increase their capability to invest back into the community.
