Simone Biles wins first Olympic gold since Rio

Simone Biles who is said to be the world’s most decorated gymnast, led her Team USA women’s gymnastics to gold in the team final.

Team USA have now reclaimed their apex position in the event after taking silver in Tokyo.

This will be Biles’ first Olympic gold medal since the 2016 Rio Olympics after she pulled out of several events in Tokyo.

Biles has billed this as her "redemption tour".
