Senior 7s players like Jerry Tuwai, Alasio Naduva, Waisea Nacuqu and Napolioni Bolaca will be expected to share the try scoring load as Fiji’s top try scorer this season Aminiasi Tuimaba will not be playing in Vancouver this weekend.

Tuimaba has returned to Fiji to join his family who are mourning the loss of his grandfather.

Tuimaba has so far scored 20 tries this season.

Tuwai and Nacuqu are the joint second try scorers for Fiji this season with 13 tries while Bolaca has scored 12 tries.

It will also be interesting to see whether Naduva will start in place of Tuimaba.

Livai Ikanikoda has also returned to Fiji as he suffered an injury.

Terio Tamani has joined the team in Vancouver as cover for the 7s team.

Fiji's first pool match in the Vancouver 7s is against Wales at 7.37am Sunday, they will face Canada at 10.49am Sunday in their second pool match and battle France at 2.33pm Sunday in their final pool match.

The Cup quarterfinals will begin at 6.19am next Monday, the Cup semifinals will start at 10.14am next Monday and Cup final will kick off at 1.28pm next Monday.
