Former ANZ Fiji and Pacific CEO, Saud Minam has been appointed as the new CEO for Fiji Development Bank.

FDB Board Chairman, Andre Viljeon says Minam’s wide ranging experience in commercial and consumer banking, along with his accomplishment in various roles in Fiji and developed economies made him a successful candidate for the role.

Viljoen says an immediate priority for Minam and FDB will be to continue supporting the Banks 3,753 micro, small, medium enterprise clients through the current COVID-19 pandemic induced challenges.

He says they will focus on growing customer base to bring more micro, small, medium enterprises under their financial portfolio, thereby contributing towards the country’s economic recovery especially in non-urban areas.
