Sai Prema Foundation is offering free general medical consultations and medications for all RFMF and Navy personnel, their spouses and children.

This comes after the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement between the Foundation and the Republic of Fiji Military Forces.

The Foundation will also be offering the children of the forces free heart screenings at the Sai Sanjeevani Heart Screening Centre and through outreach heart screening camps as well as free dental treatment at the soon to be opened Children’s Dental Centre.

The RFMF and the Foundation, will also create awareness of the prevalence and symptoms of Congenital Heart Disease among all the children of the forces.

Foundation’s Director, Sumeet Tappoo says the signing of this agreement is a simple act of expressing their gratitude to the Fiji Army and Fiji Navy who sacrifice themselves, risk their lives and endure intense training to protect and safeguard our nation as well as keep us safe and secure.

RFMF Commander, Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto says he is truly grateful to the Foundation for extending its hand in partnership for the health and betterment of not only the personnel but their families as well.

He adds the Fiji Military Force is a ‘human resource heavy’ organisation and to partner with Sai Prema Foundation means that their most important assets and their families are looked after and treated.
