Ro Teimumu congratulates PA and NFP after SODELPA forms coalition with them

We will not disappoint - Rabuka

Former SODELPA Leader Ro Teimumu Kepa has congratulated the People's Alliance and the National Federation Party coalition and says the way ahead is not going to be easy.

While speaking in a press conference after the announcement that SODELPA will form a coalition with PA and NFP, Ro Teimumu says the SODELPA management meeting was not easy as it took them 72 hours to sit through and ensure that they made the right decision.

She is hoping they will be looked after well by the two big parties as they have the smallest number of seats in this coalition.

Ro Teimumu adds that they are asking for the people's prayers and support that they forge ahead and bring what the country has been praying for the last 16 years.

People's Alliance Leader Sitiveni Rabuka says he congratulates the people of Fiji for voting for them and for change, and they believe they can give that to the people.

He says it is never easy to run a government and very difficult to hand over after too long as he congratulates the outgoing Prime Minister and his cabinet and the FijiFirst Party for running the affairs of the nation for the past 16 years.

Rabuka says he hopes the FijiFirst Party will accept the result of defeat.

The People's Alliance Leader says they are grateful that SODELPA has decided to come with them and he is sure they will not be disappointed.
