Radrudru happy with decision to switch schools

2019 Coca-Cola Games Overall Best Male Athlete Kolinio Radrudru says he is happy with his decision to switch schools to RKS, where he has been able to grow his love for athletics.

He had represented Suva Grammar School last year.

Radrudru won gold in the Senior Boys 100 metres, 200 metres and 4x100 metres relay race in the Coke Games.

Radrudru has acknowledged his fellow athletes for their hard work that has pushed them to winning the Boys title.

ACS athlete Naomi Sigaruarua won the Overall Best Female Athlete.

She won gold in the Intermediate Girls 100 metres, 200 metres and 4x100 metres.

ACS team captain, Liviana Kula says this year the team preparations were different compared to last year.

She says they were given training programs which also included looking after their diet.

Kula says this helped them defend their title successfully.

ACS won the Girls Division with 17 gold, 12 silver and 10 bronze medals.

Saint Joseph’s Secondary School finished second with 7 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze while Jasper Williams High School was third  with 5 gold, 10 silver and 8 bronze.

RKS finished the Games with 14 gold, 11 silver and 10 bronze.

Marist Brothers High School was in second place with 9 gold, 17 silver and 6 bronze.

Suva Grammar School was in third place with 6 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze.
