Friends, family members and fans today farewelled legendary radio broadcaster, Paul Takala.
50 year old Takala, a well known radio personality who started off on FM96 back in 1986 and then later hosted the drive time show on Legend FM, passed away on Monday night after a short illness.
In the funeral service at the Dudley Church today, Managing Director for Communications Fiji Limited, William Parkinson said Paul was a legend and will be remembered for his smooth voice and immense knowledge of music who contributed a lot to the radio industry.
Parkinson said everyone should learn from the good qualities that Paul Takala had.
Takala was cremated at Vatuwaqa cemetary.
He is survived by his wife, Lobe and his three children.
