Radio Navtarang celebrates 33rd birthday and promises to grow through the support of its listeners

As Radio Navtarang celebrates its 33rd birthday today, the station has revolutionised the Hindi radio industry and promises to grow from strength to strength through the support of its listeners.

Senior Content Director, Satya Nand says Navtarang has always been part of the community in good and bad times.

He says nothing can stop Navtarang and the way the station is going, they will remain the top hindi radio station in the country.

A Blast from the past shots

The first song to play on the station was Haste Haste Kat Jaye Raste from the movie Khoon Bhari Maang. Communications Fiji Limited Chairman and Founder, William Parkinson started Radio Navtarang on September 15th 1989. This was CFL’s second station after FM96 hit the airwaves on July 5th 1985.

CFL is the parent company of Legend FM, FM96, VitiFM, Navtarang, Radio Sargam and fijivillage.
