Queen Elizabeth cruise liner boosts sales on New Year’s Eve in Lautoka

Tourists in Lautoka gave a significant boost to business sales during their short stop in the city today.

The Lautoka City Council says 1,928 tourists arrived, with most seen shopping in the small city.

The Tourist Police Unit confirmed that all tourists were provided with safety and security during their brief stay in Lautoka.

With a capacity of 2,081 passengers, the Queen Elizabeth cruise ship is spending New Year’s Eve in Lautoka. Tourists were observed enjoying themselves while shopping around Lautoka City throughout the day.
