Police are investigating a viral video showing a youth being assaulted by two men on the side of a road in Labasa.
It is alleged the two men involved are from Natokamu Village.
The video, widely circulated on social media, shows a man repeatedly punching a youth who is lying in a drain filled with water. The incident is believed to have occurred beside a sugarcane farm in Labasa.
Police confirm that a report has been received and investigations are now underway.
Meanwhile, the video has triggered widespread outrage online, with members of the public calling for swift action and stronger measures to prevent such incidents in communities.
