The Fiji Police Force is sending out a stern message to all its officers around the country that any ill-discipline will not be tolerated after another police officer was terminated for alleged insubordination after being recalled from Liberia.
Police Spokeswoman Ema Mua confirmed to Fijivillage that the Police Officer, who was based in Liberia and re-called late last month, has now been terminated from the force.
Meanwhile, two senior police officers remain in custody on allegations of insubordination and are awaiting charges while two other senior officers who were suspended last month have now been terminated and are also expected to be charged soon.
Mua confirmed the two officers now in custody are linked with the same offence alleged to have been committed by the two other senior officers who have been terminated.
Mua said they cannot reveal the details of the allegations against these four officers.
