Week in week out National league matches for the Rewa soccer team is taking its toll on the players.

Rewa soccer President, Yogeshwar Singh said that after playing two matches last week, players are fatigued.

He added that Rewa has only eighteen players in their squad as four players are in the Fiji Under-23 team on the New Zealand tour.

According to Singh they also have about six youth players in their squad. He said upon returning of their Under-23 players Rewa will be much stronger side.

He said Rewa is expected to play two matches this week.

Singh said the game against Suva this Friday is a very important one as the Capital City side is equally good team who defeated them in the Champions League earlier this year.

He confirmed that they will also be playing against Tavua this week.

Rewa is currently leading the National league table with 10 points.

The Rewa and Suva match will kickoff at 7pm on Friday night and you can catch a live commentary of this match on our sister station Radio Sargam.
