The Suva City Council said people will witness a major change after the construction of the new Suva Bus Stand where buses will not be parked at the bus stand for long duration as being practiced now.

CEO, Bijay Chand said the bus depot will be moved to Walubay where all the buses will be parked.

He said the buses will only pick or drop the passengers at the bus stand.

Chand said the construction of the $80 million worth new bus stand, market and other facilities will start once the concept design is finalised and the approval is given from the Government.
