Pacific TAFE hands out 21 tablets to the winners of their marketing campaign

The University of the South Pacific’s - Pacific Technical and Further Education has today given out 21 USP branded tablets to the winners of their marketing campaign.

These 21 winners are part of the 50 awardees who were recognized for paying their fees on time and enrolling with the University.

Pacific TAFE Executive Director, Hasmukh Lal says this campaign was done for students to recognize the programs that are offered by the University.

33‑year‑old awardee Anjaleen Prasad who has come back to school after a lapse of 9 years says she is fortunate to be back at school and this win is another encouragement for her to continue her studies.

The mother of three who is enrolled in the Certificate 3 in Early Childhood program says she decided to go back to school after a lot of encouragement from her husband and in laws.

She says her husband who is a taxi driver now works 3‑4 extra hours to pay for her fees while her mother‑in‑law looks after her three kids when she is at school.
