Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has called on every Fijian to take a moment and reflect on how we can each strive to welcome each other and to love each other in the same manner that Jesus so loved the world.

Bainimarama highlighted this in his Easter message saying this is one of the most important events in the Christian calendar and a central conviction of the Christian faith.

He says for Fijians, the life and death of Jesus carry lessons that has a profound meaning for each of us.
