More than 70 new jobs will be created after the re opening of New World Supermarket in Nakasi.
Operations Manager Parma Nand Sami said when the shop was destroyed in a fire in 2012, workers at the branch were absorbed in other branches.
He said when they opened a new branch at Damodar City Complex last year, many workers were absorbed at the Damodar City branch which then created new employment opportunities.
He said the supermarket is expected to open in July.
