The Suva City Council has signed an Memorandum of Understanding with Pacific Polytech to commit to the up-skilling of more than 200 staff.

Speaking during the MOU signing, SCC Acting CEO Tevita Boseiwaqa said that more than 200 staff members will participate in the short course training offered by Pacific Polytech.

Boseiwaqa says the SCC also support the alignment of the Coalition Government of development and offers quality education of their staff.

Polytech Director Peni Taoi stated that the training provided will be directly relevant to the work the staff are currently doing.

Taoi added that the main purpose is to upskill and provide on-the-job training for SCC staff.
