One of the objectives of the Pinktober Fundraiser was to bring SODELPA members together – Ro Teimumu

SODELPA parliamentarian and Party Vice President Ro Teimumu Kepa says one of the objectives of their Pinktober Fundraiser today was to bring SODELPA members together.

While speaking at SODELPA’s Pinktober Fundraiser, Ro Teimumu says there has been so much bad news about SODELPA in the past.

SODELPA Leader Viliame Gavoka says the way forward for SODELPA is very clear.

One of the masters of ceremony at the fundraiser Ben Daveta announced that the leaders of all political parties were invited and the Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama was the first one to respond.

Bainimarama is at COP26.

He said NFP Leader Professor Biman Prasad and People’s Alliance Leader Sitiveni Rabuka were not attending but had sent in their donations.

The only two political party leaders present at today’s fundraiser was Unity Fiji Leader Savenaca Narube and Freedom Alliance Leader Jagath Karunaratne.

New Methodist Christian Fellowship founder Atunaisa Vulaono and his wife and CEO of MaiTV Raijeli Vulaono and former Chief Registrar and now law lecturer at the Fiji National University Ana Rokomokoti were also present at the event. It was announced at the fundraiser that the Vulaonos have donated $3,000.

At around midday, $9,000 had been collected.
