Navai Primary School students receive school stationaries from Ministry of Women

Students of Navai Primary School in Seaqaqa with their new school stationeries donated by the Minister of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation.

As schools around the country are progressing into the second week, 72 students of Navai Primary School in Seaqaqa were happy to receive school stationeries.

The Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation donated 72 bags, which included exercise books, Mathematical sets, pens and pencils.

School Head Teacher, Sanjay Kumar says this assists the students to attend classes regularly.

Kumar says it is also a great incentive for the students to work hard and become great leaders in their communities.

The Minister Rosy Akbar says that they are also trying to reach out to rural and remote communities to provide them with the information on benefits of the National Child Helpline and child welfare programs.

Meanwhile, 48 students in the Koroi Nasolo Primary School in Bua were also given bags full of stationeries.
