Good news as the National Fire Authority has managed to put out the fire at a construction site opposite the Narseys Plastics Industries in Laucala Beach this morning.

Eyewitnesses told fijivillage News that the fire started around 9.30am.

About 30 people were on the site when the fire started.

Company Secretary, Ajit Narsey clarified that the fire did not occur at Narseys Plastics or involve their factory in any way, the facility remains completely unaffected, and operations continue as normal.

Narsey says upon noticing the fire, their staff and management assisted in controlling the flames using their fire extinguishers until the National Fire Authority arrived.
