Nareki and Koroi in Highlanders Super Rugby Aotearoa squad

Fijian Outside backs - Jona Nareki and Vilimoni Koroi are in the Highlanders Super Rugby Aotearoa squad for the 2021 season.

They are joined by Solomon Alaimalo, All Black Nehe Milner Skudder, Connor Garden Bachop and Scott Gregory.

The two first five-eighths listed for the Highlanders are Mitchell Hunt and Josh Ioane.

Thomas Umaga Jensen who had an impressive season last year is joined by Sio Tomkinson, Ngane Punivai and Fetuli Paea in the midfield.

Other players in the squad are Aaron Smith, Liam Squire, Shannon Frizzel, Josh Dickson, Pari Pari Parkinson, Liam Coltman and Ash Dixon.

The 2021 Super Rugby Aotearoa competition will kick off on the 26th of next month.

There will be 20 round-robin matches with each team playing each other twice on a home and away basis.

Each team will have four home matches and two byes with the final between the top two qualifying teams scheduled for Saturday, 8 May.
