Former President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau is part of the Melanesian Spearhead Group Observer Mission that will observe the Vanuatu Snap Elections this Thursday.
Ratu Epeli will be accompanied by the Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Chief Administrative Officer, Navneel Sharma.
A record number of 28 political parties are contesting the snap elections for the Parliament of the Republic of Vanuatu.
Fiji joins other MSG members including the Kanak and Socialist National Liberation Front of New Caledonia (FLNKS) to observe the elections.
