New Zealand based Blue Scope Pacific Steel Proprietors Limited has invested around $294 million in taking over Fletcher Pacific Steel.
At the celebration of integration in Walu Bay, Suva last night, Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism, Faiyaz Koya highlighted that this acquisition by Blue Scope Company is a significant investment in Fiji by an international renowned business.
Koya added that this investment is an indication of confidence of the international investors in the Fijian economy.
