Good news for people across Ra, Tailevu, Naitasiri and surrounding areas as Communications Fiji Limited, the parent company of FM96, Legend FM, VITIFM, Navtarang, Radio Sargam and fijivillage, has announced the live activation of its new transmission site in Nayavu, Ra, strengthening radio coverage in the area.
The site will extend and strengthen access to CFL's five radio stations for listeners across Nayavu, Matawailevu, parts of Ra, Dawasamu, Natovi, Korovou, including parts of Naitasiri and Tailevu and will improve coverage for travellers along Kings Highway.
The installation is part of CFL's ongoing investment in strengthening its broadcast network and improving access to reliable radio services for communities outside Fiji's major urban centres.
CFL Chief Executive Officer, Charles Taylor says the investment reflects the company's commitment to keeping communities connected.
Taylor says radio remains an important source of information, entertainment and connection for communities across Fiji.
He adds the investment in our Nayavu site is about strengthening that access and ensuring listeners travelling along and living in this corridor can receive CFL's five radio services more reliably.
Taylor says this reinforces our position as the media organisation with the biggest reach in Fiji.
Listeners in these areas will be able to tune in to the following frequencies:
FM96 “ 96.4 FM
Navtarang “ 101.2 FM
VITIFM “ 92.4 FM
Legend FM “ 98.8 FM
RADIO Sargam “ 103.6 FM
CFL is encouraging listeners in the new coverage areas to retune and save the new frequencies for their preferred stations.
Retune and stay connected with Communications Fiji Limited.
