The Land Transport Authority says more than 80,000 Fijians have registered for their E-services so far.

The registration ends on the 31st of this month.

CEO Samuel Simpson says once registered, account holders will be able to easily access their services and conduct transactions online such as applications for their Vehicle Registration Renewal or make payments for traffic offences.

Simpson says this new system is meant to provide customers with convenience and ease of use.

He says another advantage of the E-services is the ability to receive notifications and reminders of renewals prior to expiration which should allow for better accountability as transactions will be logged in databases and easily retrievable.
