The Fiji Bitter Mataso 7s organisers are planning to build a bridge for the village from the proceeds coming from the two day tournament as Club president Sivaniolo Nayacatabu says they are aiming to provide a safe passage for their community because at the moment, villagers are crossing the Wainisili River to reach the main road.

General Manager of Paradise Beverages Fiji Mike Spencer says the Fiji Bitter Mataso Nakorovou 7s tournament is more than just a rugby competition as it is a testament to the brand's core values and strategic mission.

He says they are thrilled to share their passion for community support and sustainability.

Spencer says they are proud supporters of grassroots rugby since its inception in 1976, is excited to announce its continued commitment to nurturing rugby at the grassroots level.

He says that sponsorship means making a positive impact in the communities that have embraced their brands.

He says one of the most significant highlights of the Fiji Bitter Mataso Nakorovou 7s is its dedication to community development.

He adds the revenue generated from this weekend's tournament will be invested in the noble cause to help build a bridge at Mataso Village in Ra. The 7s tournament will be held from this Friday to Saturday at Churchill Park Lautoka.
