Man to front court for allegedly raping niece in Samabula

The 27-year-old man alleged to have raped his 11-year-old niece on the 7th of this month in Samabula has been charged.

The man has been charged with 3 counts of rape and one count o sexual assault.

Police say the accused had asked her to massage his stomach in his house where he allegedly committed the offence several times. The matter was reported by the victim's mother.

He will be produced in the Suva Magistrates Court today.
