Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says there is "no place to hide" for his players following the return of Cristiano Ronaldo.

His arrival, and that of French defender Raphael Varane who has won a number of titles with Real Madrid, has raised expectations at a club which last won the league title in 2013.

Solskjaer says there is no place to hide with winners like that.

In his last appearance against Newcastle at Old Trafford in 2008, Ronaldo scored a second-half hat-trick in a 6-0 win.

Manchester United faces Newcastle at 2am tomorrow, Manchester City faces Leicester City at 2am tomorrow, Arsenal plays Norwich at the same time while Liverpool will play Leeds United at 3.30am Monday.
