Members of parliament present in the chambers will be voting electronically this week while those connecting virtually will vote by acclamation.

This has been confirmed by Speaker of Parliament Ratu Epeli Nailatikau who says the process is a bit intricate but he is sure they can manage.

He told parliament this morning that while they have reverted to the normal sitting arrangement, the additional four seats at the back will not be used this week but will definitely be occupied in the May sitting of parliament.

Ratu Epeli adds the reason is the IT unit is awaiting some audio components which need to be installed.

He says they are adamant they will receive this well before the next sitting.
