MIOT International aims to have all specialities at the private hospital

MIOT International is looking at taking some more medical personnel from MIOT Pacific Hospital in Suva to the MIOT International in Chennai India for more specialised training.

MIOT International Managing Director Prithvi Mohandas says the aim is to have all the specialities in house at the private hospital.

Mohandas says the challenge is how to make sure there is staff to use the services and specialities that will be provided in house.

He says they will also be bringing medical personnel from India to work with the locals.

Meanwhile Dr. Jonetani Kama who is a Specialist Radiologist and Rajeshni Mala who is the Team Leader Pathology completed their two week long Learning Exchange Program at MIOT International in India.

The hospital in India is a 1000 bed hospital with 63 specialities.
